How did you hear about the Arise® Platform?
I was working for a company that was part of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) but was looking for an opportunity to work from home.
Someone I know just happened to tell me that they started using the Arise® Platform, so I went online to check it out.
How long have you been using the Arise® Platform?
I started in October of 2011 as an agent but then switched over to become a business owner. Now I have serviced four or five different clients on the Arise® Platform.
What clients have you worked with?
I started with Carnival Cruise Line, but some of my friends were servicing the home improvement supplier and had nothing but great things to say. Now I have been servicing the home improvement supplier client for about four years!
What do you like most about the program you service?
I think it’s because of the atmosphere that the Arise® Platform builds. You’re never alone—no matter what.
The instructors also help you develop and learn new things.
With any client on the Arise® Platform, there is always somebody there to guide you, teach you, or go over material with you. You are never made to feel: “I’m not smart enough to do that.”
This is an awesome fit for retired people who want to make a little extra money, and the home improvement supplier would be a great fit for them because they have a clear, concise plan for their customer service.
What do you like most about using the Arise® Platform?
The ease of it. I mean, It’s not hard; it’s not complicated.
You complete the assessment, pick what program you think you’re going to fit best with, and then you take the class.
If you get stuck, you can always go to Partner Support or AVA for help.
When you take the class, you find out that there are processes to help you transition into what you will be doing. It’s easy to transition from taking the certification class for a client, getting the knowledge from the instructors, learning about the systems, and then servicing. Even if you are new to a computer, the instructors walk you right through the process and tell you what you need.
How has the Arise® Platform impacted your ability to grow personally?
Personally, I like that I can select hours around my family needs.
We are retired, and my husband—he’s 74—just retired from farming. There are days we might want to go fishing, and I can take a day to enjoy that. When he’s sick, I can adjust my schedule to take him to his doctor’s appointments. When the grandkids come and want to go to the mountains, I can adjust my schedule.
The fact that I can work early in the morning, in the middle of the day, or late at night is wonderful, and you can select your service hours around your homelife, and that is important for a lot of different people.
So personally, it has given me the peace of mind that my family is still coming first. However, I can still learn and grow and develop and do some things that I enjoy doing while earning extra money, which comes in handy.
You feel like you’re providing for your family—and you’re not making your family suffer.
How has the Arise® Platform helped you grow professionally?
It has taught me patience. Using the Arise® Platform and working from home is totally different than working in a traditional 9–5 brick-and-mortar office setting. Professionally, I have been able to stay focused throughout the day.
You learn how much you can grow based on your own merit.
Professionally, this is totally different because I am connecting with many more people, and I am able to expand my knowledge while sharing my own with someone who is just starting out.
This is more far-reaching. You’re not limited to just the people in your town or community. This reaches people throughout the U.S., UK, and even Canada. You learn new things because you connect with more people.
Do you have any advice for those who are new to the Arise® Platform or who are interested in using it?
If you are young and starting out, this is the best. If you are middle aged and want some extra income, this is perfect. If you’re older and fitting to retire, this is awesome—because you already have some knowledge you can share.
The main thing for everyone—no matter who you are or where you’re from—is to be confident in yourself.
Yes, it’s going to be scary at first, but guess what? You can learn more about yourself than you ever thought possible. You can have the freedom you did not think you would have.
If you are confident, want to grow, want to have an income, and want happiness, then the Arise® Platform is definitely a great option.
This is the time to take the chance to do something different.
I have never felt as confident, comfortable, and less stressed than I do now.
Is there anything else you would like others to know about the Arise® Platform?
This is something that I always tell people: It is not the circumstances that make a change, it is you. If you have a pot of boiling water, it will soften a potato, but it will harden an egg. Which way do you want to go?
The Arise® Platform is a trusted, respected source of not only income but also professional growth, learning, and support.
If you decide you want to work from home, there are other work from home platforms, but I personally do not think any of those platforms have what the Arise® Platform does. It doesn’t matter which client you’re servicing—there’s so many of them.
It boils down to this: The integrity of the Arise® Platform gives you the trust and confidence to say with pride, “I service on the Arise® Platform.”
