According to Robson and based on my experience, you will complete simple tasks such as taking surveys, transcribing, reading sentences out loud, and having phone conversations. You are not obligated to complete a certain number of tasks, so you can pick and choose what seems interesting and fits your schedule. You don’t need any special skills.
You will be invited to tasks based on your language, location, gender, and age, so ensure you are completely truthful when filling out your profile.
To walk you through an example, I enjoy the audio tasks where you receive a list of simple sentences to record. You’ll know before you start how many sentences and approximately how much time it should take. Once the short phrases appear, you hit the record button below the sentence and read the sentence out loud. After you finish, you can listen to what you recorded to check for any mistakes.
How Do You Start or Create an Account?
If you want more detailed information on the company before signing up, go to the Robson AI website. They have a great help section that answers any additional questions you might have.
To start, you’ll need to download the app to your mobile device. If you have an Android, you can do this on the Google Play Store or in the Apple Store if you have iOS.
Once you have the app downloaded, you’ll fill out your profile information, which includes the following:
- Name
- Gender
- Date of Birth
- Mother Tongue/Accent City/Current City
- Education Level
- Preferred Payment Currency
- Payment Method (either Amazon Gift Cards or PayPal transfer)
At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see “my tasks,” “my profile,” and “settings.” To view your available tasks, click “my tasks” to get started.
How Much Money Can You Make?
If you’re still wondering if this is a legit app, yes, it is! I’ve been personally using Robson for a few years. I enjoy the tasks and have never had any complaints about getting paid.
The payment for each task will vary, depending on how long it takes to complete, and you will be paid via PayPal or Amazon gift cards. If you use PayPal, you will receive the payment from Globalme.
For example, I have a task that is available right now. It says it should take about 15 minutes to complete and pays $10.
Another task requires you to work with a partner, and it pays $80 per successful recorded hour. You can earn up to $320 for this project.
Most tasks take less than 30 minutes, but I’ve done a few that were up to an hour.
The times they provide are just estimates; the tasks could take more or less time depending on your experience or how quickly you can complete them. Overall, it’s an easy way to earn extra cash.

You will receive emails with available projects, but sometimes they are full by the time you receive them, so it’s better to check the app whenever you have some free time.
- Only start a project if you have the time to complete it: You will only have a set amount of time to finish each project, so don’t start a project if you don’t think you’ll have the time to complete it.
- Speak clearly and don’t rush: A QA team will evaluate your work, so try to do a good job the first time so that you don’t need to repeat anything a second time.
- Complete your tasks in a quiet space: If you need to record something for your task, you must be in a quiet space. The QA team will probably request that you re-record it if there is any background noise.
